Introduction
We aim to provide an accessible site to all our guests.
Arrival and Car Parking facilities
There is an arrivals bay before the barrier to use when you first arrive and check in. The reception can be accessed via a ramp and the door to reception is wide and mostly open.
Shelves holding stock in the reception area are on the outer walls to leave the main area free other than the ice cream cabinets.
Reception is manned all day from 8.30am – 6.00pm in season and staff is always available to assist as required. Out of season the shop has limited hours.
One car is allowed per pitch at all times. Additional car parking is available to the front of the reception.
Public Areas
The site is made up of different surfaces.
Campsite
The campsite has a grass surface and is quite solid. Roads are tarmac with gravel and have a slight incline. Pitches near the reception end of the park avoid this.
Both shower blocks have disabled access to a shower and toilets. The South Block with level access has a dedicated disabled unit with toilet, washbasin and wheelchair access shower and level access to the dishwashing area. The North block has ramp access to the shower/ toilet facilities and two steps to the dishwashing area. There are pitches with easy access to both blocks for customers with maneuverability difficulties. The North block has a large dedicated family shower room and there is also a baby/ toddler bathroom.
Laundry
The laundry building has level access and washing machines are low for easy access. The dryers are higher up and staff assistance may be needed.
Grounds
All paths and roads on the site are wheel chair friendly. Paths off the campsite are not really wheel chair friendly.
