Just down the road from us you can enjoy a walk among this woodland managed by the Forestry Commission. Children enjoy the walks as there are plenty of interesting things for them to discover through the trails including a rope spiders net, a pirate ship, a butterfly climbing wall and the dragonfly. 14th Century Bodiam castle is one of Britain’s most picturesque castles. With a moat, portcullis, battlements and windows where arrows were shot this is a castle to appeal to all ages. This world famous garden is only 15 minutes away. Our favourite garden is the White Garden and from the tower you can enjoy amazing views of the Kent countryside. Surprisingly children love Sissinghurst as there are fun quizzes for all ages and during the holidays there may be a storyteller spinning folktales about ghosts. Lovely restaurant serving cream teas!
