A Brief History
Then –
Tanner Farm Park was born on virgin land in the centre of the Mannington Family farm in 1989 as a diversification project. We started with 100 pitches; 40 electric hook-ups and a pristine shower block built on land originally used for Hopper Huts in the days when Londoners came down to Kent in the autumn to pick hops and holiday in the Kent countryside.
And Now –
Since then we have expanded, innovated, invested and embraced our Touring Park and we now have 130 pitches catering for tents, trailer tents, caravans, motor vans and our newest acquisition – camping pods. We built a second shower block in l997 and both units have continually been up-dated and refurbished to maintain the quality standard for which we have become known.
All our pitches, including tents, are equipped with 16 amp electric hook-ups and our hard-standings also have taps with 12 being all-service.
Both our shower blocks are centrally heated. There are kitchen washing-up areas in both the North and South Blocks; a dedicated disabled facility in the South Block; also in the South Block a coin-op launderette; a family Shower room in the North Block together with a mother and toddler room.
So, we endeavour to cater for all age groups and abilities.
